While watercolours are not my area of skill, this project used the artistic qualities of the medium to create a unique result. The objective was to employ the use of colour theory to create an illusion of space, a 3-dimensional environment, by layering the selected collection of colours adjacent on the colourwheel, according to an excavated grid system visible in pencil. The result is not only a lesson in deliberation, but also an abstract composition.
