Light Studies

A large part of my self-education was geared towards exploration and experimentation. One of the most vital elements of interior design is lighting, and this group study was conducted to explore the way light behaved on different surfaces. While we played with lasers and flashlights through different variations and thicknesses of transparent materials. The highlight of the study was the accummulation of all our data to create our own results. We created soup solutions to create bubbles of different sizes and thicknesses in an attempt to create bubbles where we could manipulate the colours that danced on the surface and control the end result. The productions were stunning.
