High Brightness Contrast - Light Studies

A second part of our light studies had a more direct relation to interiors. Lighting design uses high, low and medium brightness contrast to create accents and focal points. Our exploration used different shapes and protrusions to examine the type of material finishes and surface treatments we could use to create high-impact accent walls. Our exploration employed flat surfaces, curved/corrugated surfaces, and angular surface treatments while maintining a uniform colour code and light source to create high contrast treatments.
